The Redbull team had a very impressive straight-line speed which helped the Redbull team to get extremely satisfying lap times. So, a nice lap from Max Verstappen in the qualifying session was enough to get the pole. Max sat at the Redbull's garage and watched the rest of the session.
Rumors were going around the paddock and on the internet about new regulations which were accepted by FIA a while ago and have provided good straight-line speed.
The changes have come as minor fixes for the 2022 new regulations about the porpoising and vehicle height from the ground.
Toto Wolf who is the team leader of the Mercedes F1 Team was complaining about porpoising because Lewis Hamilton suffered from back pain and Toto thought that porpoising affected all drivers badly. After all those complaints FIA changed the regulations but lots of people think Redbull has got an advantage from these changes and the performance difference between Redbull and all other teams has opened as a consequence FIA is not happy with the result because they changed regulations for 2022 cars to close the difference between teams.
The biggest regulation change is teams have to set their cars 10mm higher from the ground than the usual set.
Last but not least all these changes and setups reduced the car performances if we compare it with before regulations but there are lots of improvements on porpoising so, drivers are happy with that and health comes first as we all know. After Sunday Redbull team principal Christian Horner thanked Toto Wolf for all the work he worked for changing the rules.
